Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Synthropic collects, how it is used, and the choices available to visitors.

Information we collect

We collect the information you provide directly, such as an email address submitted through a subscription form or any content you send to us.

When you access the service, we and our infrastructure providers may also receive technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, and timestamps.

How we use information

We use information to operate the service, remember language and theme preferences, secure the platform, and improve performance and editorial quality.

We may also use information to communicate service updates, respond to requests, and enforce our terms.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site uses cookies or local storage for essential functions such as theme selection and language preferences.

Synthropic uses a self-hosted Umami service to understand anonymous page visits and Core Web Vitals. Umami does not set analytics cookies, excludes URL search parameters and hashes, respects Do Not Track, and does not create stable user identities, advertising profiles, heatmaps, or session replays.

How information is shared

We share information only when needed to run the service, comply with the law, protect rights and security, or complete a corporate transaction such as a merger or asset sale.

Service providers that help us host, deliver, or secure the platform may process information on our behalf under appropriate contractual restrictions.

  • Hosting, storage, and infrastructure partners
  • Security, fraud-prevention, and operational tooling

Retention and security

We keep information for as long as it is reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the platform.

No system is perfectly secure, but we use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.

Your choices

You can request access, correction, or deletion of information you provided to us. You can also control certain cookies through your browser settings, although disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the service from working.

Where applicable law provides additional rights, such as rights of access, deletion, portability, or objection, we will honor those rights as required.

International use

The service may be operated from more than one country, and information may be processed in locations where privacy laws differ from those in your jurisdiction.

When required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border data transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date.
